![]() ![]() ![]() I like the Elipsa, it needs some software updates to fix and clean up some of the rougher points, but if you're using it just for note taking and some reading and a backlight isn't important to you, the Remarkable 2 or even the BOOX Note Air/3 might be better for you. There are no physical buttons for page turning. There's no comfort light option (blue light fliter), but you can set everything to darkmode (white font on black background). It works with epubs and pretty much everything else. Markups on books is what you think it does. Having a external battery is a double edged sword as it lasts a long time and can easily replace it when one dies, but it's also a a hinderance because if you don't have a replacement on hand, you're out of luck. Kobo claims the screen has a paper-like feel, but it's about halfway to what the Remarkable 2 offers (which is great).
